Tired of drawing tulips, I've recently been experimenting with other stuff. Any plant in my house I think might look cool, and even an attempt at our sleeping cat. (Thank goodness she's mostly white.)
I picked up some watercolors on a whim one weekend, feeling bored and in need of a hobby. I've enjoyed pencil drawing in the past, and especially the messy and forgiving nature of charcoal. So watercolors seemed like a next good step. I ended up drawing a series of some yellow tulips, and watched as each flower seemed to explode in slow-motion.
